Accuracy of POI files
listoflocations said on September 24th, 2009 at 1:30 pm
I recently uploaded a large file which created a new POI Group. I excluded 200 locations from the file which had over 4000 locations because the geocodes did not have at least street level accuracy. Should I have excluded these points from the file? Should I only include points if they have a certain level of accuracy? If so, what level is this?

First listoflocations - awesome work on the POI group. You could do one of two things, exclude any locations that won't geocode to street level or include these locations and in the poi name include the word "approximate" or "geocoded to town or city level only". Example: Bob's Eatery - approximate location or Bob's Eatery - geocoded to town or city level only. You could also include in the poi group description something like: Corrections to any of the pois greatly appreciated. My 2 cents.
