W.U.C. is Wigan's first & only ukulele club. Formed in July 2009, here in George Formby's home town of Wigan in Lancashire, we are a group of local folk who love to play the uke, ranging in various ukulele playing abilities from beginners to expert players! **ALL WELCOME **FREE ADMISSION** If you're a beginner and not had one so long, or if you're a good 'un, or even an expert, just come come along and enjoy. We start off with an opening medley that everyone will be able to play! Then we're on to solos, duets. Then we break for some food, chatting, a few drinks of the local brew, music exchanging and tips from the more proficient.
